Barrett turned 6 months old on Christmas eve, which ment that today he had to go to the Dr. and get his 6 months set of shots. New Book! "what you say is what you get"

Ok so Ryan and I are reading this new book by Don Gossett called "what you say is what you get" and it is powerful. Let me start by saying that Don is a Christian and the book is about faith and getting all God promises you. Any way in this book it talks about how just by claiming things in Christ Jesus's name you can get all that you need. It also talks about how by claiming and saying negative things you will speak negative things into existance. Well it also gives a Never again list and Ryan and I feel this list is true and Important. I am going to post the list on here now for you to read. I hope you will take the list to heart as we did, and make the necessary changes to your life as well. Please comment and let me know what you think about it.
Never Again List

Never again will I confess
“I Can’t” for “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13)

Never again will I confess lack, for “My God shall supply all of my need according to his riches in Glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19)

Never again will I confess fear, for “God hath not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Never again will I confess doubt and lack of faith for “God hath given to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3)

Never again will I confess weakness, for “the Lord is the strength of my life” (Psalms 27:1) & “The people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits” (Danial 11:32)

Never again will I confess supremacy of Satan over my life, for “Greater is he that is within me then he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4)

Never again will I confess defeat, for “God always causeth me to triumph in Christ Jesus” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

Never again will I confess lack of wisdom, for “Christ Jesus is made unto me wisdom from God” (1 Corinthians 1:30)

Never again will I confess sickness, for “with his stripes I am healed” (Isaiah 53:5) & Jesus “Himself took my infirmities and bare my sickness” (Matthew 8:17)

Never again will I confess worries and frustrations, for I am”Casting all my cares upon him who careth for me” (1 Peter 5:7) In Christ I am care free.

Never again will I confess bondage, for “where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17) My body is the temple of the Holy spirit!

Never again will I confess condemnation, for “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1) I am in Christ; therefore, I am free from condemnation.

Holidays

Well things are moving fast.... Barrett is 5 months old and on Christmas eve he will be 6 months. He is eating solid foods as shown in my last blog. He so far is eating Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Sweet Peas, Apples, Rice cereal & oatmeal, & next week he starts on Pears. He is getting so big. He now weighs 16 lbs and is growing like a weed. Barrett went as tigger for halloween. We took him Trick or Treating at 2 houses in the neighborhood that his father and I grewup in. It was neat cause he got to go to 2 houses we use to trick or treat at when we were little. Thanksgiving went well I had all the Landons at our house plus a cousin his brothers kids. All in all we had 19 people and Yes I did all the cooking including the turkey! Thank Goodness my mom taught me how to cook. Anyhow it went off without a hitch and everyone loved the house and the food. I will post pics when I get them Downloaded. As for this week My mom and I took Barrett to have his Pic made with Santa and he loved it. I will post that too when I get it. I am done shopping for Christmas and that is good. All I have to do now is Wrap. Well I better go I will post more in the next few weeks.

Real food

Last week I took Barrett to the Dr. for his 4 month shots and check up. Things went well. Barrett has grown so much in the past 2 months. He is now 15 lbs 1 oz and 24 ¾ inches long. He is doing really well he is now in the 50% for height and weight which for those who don’t know means he is average and right on track. Not to big or small. We also got the go ahead to start him on cereal and veggies. I am attaching some pics of his 1st ever attempt at eating baby cereal. He had that for 1 week then we started him on Carrots. He gets sweet potatoes next week. We are so proud of our little one. He is doing great with scooting himself around on his belly, and he is trying to master sitting up by himself. I will post pics of Halloween next week when I get them developed.

Vegas Trip!

Our trip to Las Vegas was great. Barrett was a perfect angel on the flight, in fact we had several people come up to us and say that they were amazed at how quiet he was and that they never would have known he was there if they hadn’t seen him or his carrier. We got a lot of good info at the Glass convention and Work went well for Ryan. On the 2nd day, I walked over to the strip with Barrett, while Ryan was working the convention, and B-man loved the lights and sounds. We ate some amazing food and all in all it was a great Family trip. Other then me getting kicked out of our hotel lobby for trying to play 1 pull on the penny slot with my son in tow. HA HA HA I showed them though Ryan watched B-man later that night so I could gamble a little bit. I put $1 in the penny slot and on my 1st pull walked away with $98. I cashed out and went back to the room I wasn’t about to loose that money. The Trip back was great as well Barrett slept the whole flight and Ryan and I got to talk and just enjoy each others company. So I have to say that it was a great week but I am sure glad to be back home in my own bed.
